Pink Floyd Monday

Mondays blow. There are ways to get through them though, the little things that help. Like this morning, I stayed in bed whining for a good 10 minutes more than usual before Adam turned on all of the lights. I also didn't take a shower (a stinky time savor). But by far, the thing that helped me make it in to work this morning was Pink Floyd.


The band: Syd Barret, Roger Waters, Bob Close, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, David Gilmore (though not all at the same time).
Fun Fact: When I was studying for the GRE, I memorized the word "sybarite" by thinking of Syd Barret, as it means a hedonist or a person devoted to pleasure or luxury. ROCK.

Song of the day: "Comfortably Numb" from the 1979 album The Wall. Such a good song and well used in a sex scene in The Departed. I highly recommend you procure it. It will get you through today.
