Allium sativum L

Throughout the age of man, Garlic has been enjoyed. We use it for reasons culinary and medicinal and vampiric. It has a characteristic pungent, spicy flavor that mellows and sweetens considerably with cooking. It boldly claims to help prevent heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and even fight cancer. To ward off vampires, garlic could be worn, hung in windows or rubbed on chimneys and keyholes.

One question that has plagued TMT is whether or not we should use a sprouting clove of G. That's the green that forms from an aged garlic. The answer, after enormous amounts of research, is yes. Go for it! Just maybe cut out the sprout as it can be bitter.

TMT wishes more people ate garlic and that everyone smelled. Because when everyone smells, no one will.
