Yesterday, On Wall Street

Yesterday, Wall Street was atwitter. The cause for the atwitter: The Hermes Bugatti Veyron parked in front of the Hermes flagship store. The Veyron is a very limited-edition sports car, capable of reaching 253 mph, with a ticket price of over 1 million. The Hermes edition (yes that's Hermes as in I can't even afford a Hermes scarf) costs a cool $2.3 million.

Car showcasing is one of the easiest ways to make out a neighborhood's income bracket. For instance, at the Garden State Plaza in NJ ,you may walk by a new Ford Windstar. At the Short Hills designer mall, a Bentley. But on Wall Street, you should expect nothing less than a one of a kind, multi-million dollar sports car accented by a fashion designer. What a world.
