April Fools'

If you asked me before yesterday, I would have said I like April Fools' Day. I see some really funny/inventive jokes and at least there is more tomfoolery in the air. Who doesn't like tomfoolery. But yesterday ended up being one of those April Fools' Days where it was just a bunch of not funny people trying to be funny and failing miserably. Is this a sign that I'm getting too cynical or did i just happen to be surrounded by suckasses yesterday?

Side note: Did anything I read about happening yesterday actually happen? I kind of think the whole kids killing their teacher thing from earlier might be some principal's april fools joke that got out of hand and picked up today by the Today Show.

Another Side note: (from the NY Times) Even Saddam Hussein’s son Uday had joined in. On April 1, 1998, his newspaper published a front-page story saying that President Clinton had called for the United Nations sanctions against Iraq to be lifted. (On Page 2, readers learned that it was not true.)

Good one!
