"The lights were like going like this," said Constable Leroy Gateman making hand gestures.

So beyond the obvious intrigue that surrounds the recent UFO sitings by more than 30 residents of Stephenville, Texas, TMT find the whole thing pretty damn fun just on account of the honky tonk way the Texas town is reacting.

The residents claim to have seen a UFO, about a mile-wide, silent with bright lights, and flying low and fast. From ABC News:

Steve Allen, a 50-year-old pilot, was at a campfire with friends and says the object was a mile long and half a mile wide. "I don't know if it was a biblical experience or somebody from a different universe or whatever but it was definitely not from around these parts," Allen said.

"The lights were like going like this," said Constable Leroy Gateman making hand gestures to describe what he saw when he spotted the UFO. "It was so fast I couldn't track it with my binoculars."

Oh and this:

The Texas chapter of the Mutual UFO Network plans to begin interviewing witnesses at 1 p.m. Saturday in a meeting room in downtown Dublin near the Dr Pepper plant.

And in the picture above, it's city secretary, Cindy Stafford.

Awesome.
