Jim Denevan

The art of Jim Denevan. He's walked up to 30 miles with a stick in hand to create these works. I like that they can be experienced from multiple perspectives and that they are of a very temporary nature. It reminds TMT of a favorite artist, Andy Goldsworthy (we'll post about him later).

Jim is also the founder of Outstanding in the Field, 'a world-wide moveable feast.' It's basically a ridiculously long traveling table where people can connect with local food and the people that provide it. It's usually outdoors or in a place where diners can appreciate where the food has come from. You can take a look at some pictures of it here , here and also at their blog.
