Maxim Reviews

Last week, the Black Crowes exposed Maxim for what it is, a smutty gossipy mess for men. Well, not really, but they did call Bullshit when, "Incredulously, the magazine gave the album [Warpaint] a two-and-a-half star rating, although neither the writer nor the editor could have heard more than one song - the single Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution."

Maxim apologized immediately. Editorial director, James Kaminsky: "It's a mistake that won't happen again." Shortly after, it did.

The magazine dubbed Nas' new album "radio friendly" giving it 2.5 stars out of five. As reported in the New York Post, Nas was surprised that Maxim had reviewed his album - because he wasn't done recording it.

TMT likes this idea of reviewing things not listened to or seen, and we will start a segment called, "Maxim Reviews..." Stay tuned.
