Grandpa Joe grows this

Last night I further expanded my leafy green horizon to Arugula. I made a vegetable soup and it shined as a key ingredient. A fun fact from Cambridge World History of Food: Arugula or Rocket (!) seed has been used as an ingredient in aphrodisiac concoctions dating back to the first century, AD. And I did feel sexy spooning it up.

If anybody has any leafy suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I have all but Kaled myself out.

  2. I've never had collards before. But I could use more soul food in my life. I do like cornbread.
