SUN

The sun is out and TMT's mood went from a 1 (bad) to a 10 (superlative). Missed you, sun. Stick around, OK?

In related news, get a load of this sun protective clothing.

When we see people at the beach wearing this gear, all covered and lotioned to high heaven, we shake our collective heads. We have some sun-sensitive friends, and they wear their 40+ spf lotion like good little albinos, but we've never seen them in this nonsense. Why don't you just put your kids in t-shirts that say "Not Fun."

  3. I've been told that nothing over 30 is any different. Can anyone confirm or refute this?

  4. dootz, that is not true any longer! in the past few years there have been some advances in sunscreen so the bigger spf's actually last longer.

basically what i read is that they created a "sunscreen for the sunscreen". neutrogena makes a good one using this stuff.

  6. Interesting, Sandy. I will have to invest in said housepaint.

Again you lie big green! I rocked the Water Babies 40 in Mexico and still got the bumpies.

Keep it up and I'm going to sue you for slander.

  7. Dootz, I think the sentence "I rocked the Water Babies 40 in Mexico and still got the bumpies" is the best thing you've ever written.
